The Summoner

Finally I did it! FFX was the push that got me back into playing video games and I've wanted to be Summoner Yuna ever since and thanks to I mustered up the guts to make it.

My favorite Yuna cosplayer, , was selling a skirt she had started since she later found the material she actually wanted so of course I bought it ^^. It had the pleats, a sketched pattern, and she had started the embroidery- she also included a how-to guide on how to finish the skirt which was super sweet. While I didn't have the ability to continue that embroidery (I tried Dx) I can at least paint.

I sprawled out on my friends floor for a few hours and painted the vines and flowers. The vines only have 3 coats of paint while the flowers have about 6 or 7. Same with the decorations on my obi but I plan of going over those again with some detail. Safe to say the painting still isn't done but it will be for Ohayocon (I also need to repaint my hibiscus since I was too tired too mix new colors at 1 in the morning.)

Something else I need to fix is my obi bow, it's still a little too heavy :/

My staff: My wonderful fantastic dad was willing to help with my staff We made it in a weekend with help from [THIS] tutorial.

[HERE] is the wig I started out with since I do have a larger head I wanted to make sure the wig I got wouldn't be too short ^^'.

Ok I think that's it for the most part, but all in all I love this cosplay and I can't wait for you all to see the rest of the pictures! (psstt some of them feature a surprise guest!)
